Evogenesis: Evolution Sandbox GAME
Evogenesis is an evolution sandbox for your phone. You don't steer an animal — you design it, decide what it bets on, and watch how it copes among dozens of other species in a climate that keeps changing on its own. The planet keeps living even after you close the game.
WHAT YOU DO
• BUILD. 115 parts: body segments, armour plates, legs, fins, eyes, jaws, ornaments. Drag them onto the body with your finger and see size, speed, attack, armour and mind change as you go. New parts unlock as your species achieve more.
• PAINT. Pigment flows through the joints and dries. Colour isn't decoration: crimson helps survive the cold, azure the heat, and green lets a creature feed on light.
• RELEASE. The body picks the land, not you: fins pull a creature into the water, legs onto dry ground. The game tells you where it will land and how well it will fit — and after a few dozen epochs it gives a verdict: thriving, holding on, barely alive or extinct. And it tells you what finished it off.
• WATCH IT EVOLVE. Species split into new ones, spread into other lands and die out. The ones that grow smart start to build: reefs, nests, shelters, and eventually tools and machines.
• GUIDE YOUR LINE. The strongest rival line on the planet has a name and a share of the world. Collect sparks, grow 20 traits across four branches and push your own species where they are losing.
THE PLANET IS ALIVE
13 kinds of land, from wetlands and shallow seas to crystal forests and abysses. The climate shifts, and eight kinds of cataclysm (cooling, warming, drought, flood, mineral bloom, radiation flare, eclipse, meteor strike) are announced ahead of time. You get time to do something about it.
You have 1000 items at hand: bombs, fertilisers, lanterns, driers, floods, cloners, mutagens. Each works on the spot you point at.
While you're away, the world catches up — up to eight hours. When you come back, the game tells you what you missed: how many species appeared, how many died out, and whether your line made it.
THE BOOK AND THE FAMILY TREE
Every species that ever took hold goes into the book — extinct ones too. The family tree shows where today's life came from. Charts show who eats whom and where life is.
TWO PLANETS
The second world is a spare and a test field: open it with credits your species earn, or by watching an ad.
NO NOISE
Nothing is sold for real money. You watch a rewarded ad only when you want to — to skip ahead in time, double what you earned while away, or get sparks — and nothing is locked behind one. The game works offline and saves progress on your phone. It never asks for your name, email or phone number.
You set the pace: pause to take a closer look, fast-forward to see evolution happen.
