Foil Studio

Foil Studio brings design, preparation and plotter control together on your Android device. Create artwork, arrange it on your mat and prepare cutting or drawing jobs in a clear Design → Prepare → Cut workflow.

CREATE AND EDIT
• Add text, shapes, clipart and freehand drawings.
• Edit points and arrange objects with layers, colours and alignment tools.
• Prepare designs with contour offsets, weeding frames and geometric operations.

PREPARE YOUR JOB
• Manage mats, materials and tools.
• Review tool passes and adjust pressure and speed.
• Preview the design before sending it to your plotter.

CONNECT AND CONTROL
• Connect to compatible GRBL-based plotters over Bluetooth Classic serial (SPP), USB serial (CDC) or TCP.
• Monitor controller status and follow tool-change prompts for multi-tool jobs.
• Use supported material loading and unloading routines.

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION
A compatible physical plotter is required for cutting and drawing. Bluetooth, USB and controller-command support depend on your hardware and firmware. Bluetooth Low Energy-only devices and proprietary plotter protocols are not supported by these serial connections. Material loading and unloading require compatible controller firmware.

TCP connections are intended for trusted local networks and do not provide authentication or encryption. Always supervise the machine, verify tool and material settings, and keep the work area clear.
