“The Gideons International in Brazil” is an interdenominational association of Christian businessmen and professionals and their wives, members in full communion with Protestant-Evangelical churches. The purpose of the Association is the propagation of the Gospel of Christ to all people, so that they may know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, through personal testimony and the distribution of the Word of God.

A SINGLE OBJECTIVE - To Distribute the Word of God Around the World

By having access to the Word of God, people can learn the good news of the gospel and accept salvation in Christ. These new Christians can, in turn, by studying the Scriptures, grow spiritually and use them to share their faith in Christ with others. For this reason, we aim to distribute New Testaments with Psalms and Proverbs. These Scriptures are printed in 107 languages ​​and offered directly and freely to individuals or placed in select public locations where many who are seeking answers will have the opportunity to find the Word of God.

Distribution Areas

The Scriptures are distributed one-on-one by members of Gideons International in Brazil to these groups:

• Students in the 4th grade (5th year) and above.

• Prisoners and employees of the police, firefighters, health care workers, and military.

• To anyone else to whom the Gideons witness individually.

The Scriptures are placed in various locations, including:

• Hotels

• Hospitals, nursing homes, retirement homes, medical and dental offices, law offices, and shelters for victims of domestic violence.

• Ships and Airplanes
