Gyrus measures seven pillars of cognition and builds a daily programme from what
it actually observes. Nothing is estimated: a pillar it has not measured is shown
as unmeasured, never as a zero.

MEASURED, NEVER GUESSED

A short assessment sets your baseline. Every session after it moves that number
or leaves it alone — it is never nudged for encouragement.

Difficulty follows what you actually do, one step at a time, never two. Two clean
rounds move you up; one slip moves you down. The same staircase psychologists use
to find a threshold.

Each pillar keeps its colour everywhere: in the catalogue, on the board, in the
session report. Seven colours you learn, not thirty-three that mean nothing.

A FINISH LINE, NOT A CLOCK

Each game ends on a target rather than on time running out. Finishing early is
worth something — the time you have left is a bonus you win, not a wait you sit
through.

WHAT LEAVES YOUR DEVICE, AND ONLY IF YOU ASK

Gyrus holds no account. Scores, history, levels and preferences live in your
device's storage; we never receive a copy of them, and uninstalling the app
erases them.

Three things can leave, each behind its own switch, every one of them off until
you turn it on: anonymous usage events, an advertising identifier that matches a
subscription to the ad that preceded it, and your daily score when you ask to be
placed among other people. Refusing one of them, or all three, changes nothing
about how the app works.

FOUR RELAXATION PUZZLES

Candy sort, Flow Link, the Tower of Hanoi and Take Flight — a board of arrows
to clear in the right order, and every other level draws a picture. No timer,
no pillar, no effect on your score. They exist to occupy the mind, not to
measure it.
