Jatan - Expiry Tracker APP

Jatan tracks the expiry dates of everything in your home — food, medicines, cosmetics, toiletries and household supplies — and reminds you before anything goes to waste.

Most homes lose money and good products not to carelessness, but to memory: nobody can keep two hundred dates in their head. The yogurt at the back of the fridge turns. Last winter's cough syrup sits in the cabinet past its date. The sunscreen stopped working months ago and nobody noticed. Jatan is the memory that never slips.

HOW IT WORKS
Thirty seconds when you shop — that's the whole job. Point the camera at a barcode while unpacking and the item names itself; no barcode, type it once and Jatan remembers it for every future scan. Type the date as printed on the pack, and get on with your life. A quiet notification arrives before anything reaches its date, with enough time to actually use it.

WHAT MAKES JATAN DIFFERENT
• Everything with a date, in one place: groceries, medicines, cosmetics, toiletries and cleaning supplies — sorted by what expires next, so you always know what to use first.
• After-opening tracking: mascara, sunscreen and creams expire after opening — that little "12M" jar symbol nobody watches. Mark an item opened and Jatan does the maths.
• Medicines you can trust: know at a glance what in your cabinet is still safe, and clear out what isn't — before you need it at 2 a.m.
• One home, one memory: share a space with your family. Whoever unpacks the shopping adds it; everyone gets the reminder. No more "did anyone check the milk?"
• A monthly shelf check: a short guided ritual to sweep expired items out — mark them used or tossed, and see what your home actually wastes.
• Quiet by design: one calm reminder, not a stream of pings. No streaks, no badges, no noise.
