Check the weather before each shift. Use the right flag for the beach condition:
Green flag means calm water.
Yellow flag means caution near shore.
Red flag means swimming and surfing are not allowed.
Visitors follow the flag you place, so every choice matters. Open the beach from the lifeguard tower, watch the visitors, and complete tidy-up tasks around the sand, waterline, surf area, and Lost & Found table.
