Mangala Master: Mancala Game GAME

Mancala, played offline by the rules of Turkish school tournaments. Pass and play with a friend on one phone, or take on the computer at four levels. No Wi-Fi needed.

Mangala is the Turkish member of the mancala family, and its rules differ from Kalah in ways that change every game. The first stone you lift goes back into the same pit. A single stone moves on to the next pit. If your last stone makes an opponent's pit even, that whole pit is yours. If it lands in an empty pit on your side, you capture the stones across from it. Whoever runs out of stones first also takes what is left on the other side.

Two player mancala on one phone
Put the phone between you and take turns: a 2 player board game that works fully offline. Play a single set or a best-of-3 tournament match: first to two sets wins, a coin toss decides who starts set 1.

Four computer levels
• Easy: learn the rules at your own pace.
• Medium: thinks 4 moves ahead.
• Hard: thinks 8 moves ahead.
• Master: looks much deeper than Hard, and deeper still near the end. It may take a few seconds to move.

A daily mancala puzzle
Every day brings a new "win in 2 moves" or "win in 3 moves" position. Exactly one first move wins, and every puzzle is checked against every possible reply. Puzzles are built on the phone, so they work offline too, and the last seven days stay open if you miss one.

A mancala board game that teaches
A five-step tutorial lets you play each rule on a real board. A hint lights up the best pit and tells you why: "This move makes a pit even: you take 6 stones." After every computer move, one line says which pit it played and what happened.

Watch every stone
Stones hop from pit to pit one by one, and captured stones fly into your store as it counts them. Choose the sowing speed in Settings, or tap the board to finish a move at once.

Also
• Close the app and your set waits where you left it.
• Undo a move.
• Wins, draws, highest store and longest streak for every level, plus match points and your puzzle streak.
• Light and dark theme; sounds stay silent when your phone is on mute.
• No ad pops up by itself during a set, or between the sets of a match. Ads appear on the main menu and after a set. If your undo or hint credits run out, you can choose to watch a short video for two more.

The rules follow the mangala tournament text of Turkey's mind games federation (TAZOF), where mangala is played in the middle school category. The full rules and their source are on the in-app Rules page.
