Mayority Lite

The elections are over! Congratulations to you, the new mayor! However, winning the election is only the first step in your success story. The residents of Mayority have different interests and ideas for a perfect city. Your task is to balance the different needs in your decisions to ensure a happy coexistence among all residents. Are you up to the task? Give it a try!

Mayority is based on the Council of Europe’s “Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture” (RFCDC) and a fun way to understand basic democratic values in the classroom.

It can be played in German and English and is a playful way for 10 to 15-year-olds to understand and appreciate democratic values and how to live together peacefully . Through interactive tasks and accompanying teaching material (currently only available in German), players are motivated to engage with protecting democracy and strengthening social cohesion.
