Mitarbeiter.APP Stadt Rain

The employee app is the City of Rain's internal application for employees of the city and its school districts. It is not an app for the general public: Access is granted by the city's personnel department; self-registration is not possible.

Many colleagues in the municipal works department, daycare centers, schools, and public utilities do not have a computer at their workstation. For them, the app consolidates information that would otherwise be posted on bulletin boards or stored in inboxes they cannot access during their shifts.






... What the app can do:

• Announcements and notices - News from the city and school districts, including all departments, attachments, and images

• Acknowledge and sign - Official instructions can be read, acknowledged, and signed directly over the phone

• Documents - Forms, fact sheets, and templates in folders, accessible at any time

• Department address book - Direct dial numbers and email addresses of colleagues

• Messages and chat - Secure messaging function and a feature for quick information exchange within user groups

• Appointments - All current appointments for all departments at a glance

• Sick leave notification - Sick leave notifications to the personnel office can be submitted directly in the app

• Training - Short videos with subtitles demonstrate procedures step by step, each with a few review questions. Users can collect points for completing the videos

• Translation - Posts and messages can be translated into your own language so that employees who are not native German speakers can understand everything

The data is stored on a server in Germany, commissioned by the city of Rain. Content is not visible without registration.
