NOSTO: Workout & Calorie Log

NOSTO is a training, nutrition and progress app for people who lift and want to see what comes of it.

TRAINING
Log a workout set by set: exercise, weight, reps. A library of over 100 lifts, many with drawings and technique steps, plus your own exercises for the machines a library has never heard of. Build your own programme — days, exercises, sets, rep ranges and a warm-up — or start from a ready-made one, and begin a workout straight from a programme day. A rest timer, a plate calculator, personal records and your full training history come with it, and a workout can be logged with no signal.

CARDIO
150 activities with duration, distance and the calories your machine or watch showed. A warm-up belongs to the workout it was part of.

NUTRITION
A food diary that searches Finland's national food composition database Fineli, with over 4,000 basic foods, and Open Food Facts, with over three million packaged products from around the world — choose the country whose products you see. Scan a barcode with the camera, set the portion in grams, and it is logged. If a packet is in neither, add it yourself — the code is already filled in.

Calorie and macro targets are calculated from your profile, and a tap on a target shows the working behind it. Fibre and up to 56 nutrients per food, compared with the EU reference intakes. Save your usual meals, plan the week and get a shopping list in the order you walk a shop. Type what a food cost and see what your food costs by the week or the month.

PROGRESS
Weight, body measurements, progress photos, sleep, energy, recovery and stress. A weekly summary, a calendar, statistics and records — all computed from the entries you made yourself.

WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM
Every number NOSTO shows comes from an explicit formula and the figures you gave it. It does not guess on your behalf and it does not invent a number you never entered.

NOSTO is not a healthcare service and not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice.

PRIVACY
No ads. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party tracking. No email address or phone number is asked for, because sign-in is a passkey — your device's own key, with no password. Progress photos never leave your phone. Your data is never sold or shared, and you can download a copy of it or delete your account from inside the app.

GOOD TO KNOW
