Oware - African Board Game

Oware is one of the oldest and most respected board games in the world.
Originating in West Africa over a thousand years ago, it has been a
cornerstone of Ghanaian culture — played by traders, farmers, kings,
and schoolchildren across every generation.

This is Oware Abapa — the competitive, adult variant of the game,
used in international tournaments from Accra to London to Toronto.

HOW TO PLAY

The board has 12 pits — 6 on each side. Each pit starts with 4 seeds.
On your turn, pick up all the seeds from one of your pits and sow them
one by one, counter-clockwise around the board.

If your last seed lands on your opponent's side making exactly 2 or 3
seeds in that pit — you capture. Chains of 2s and 3s are captured
backwards. First player to collect 25 seeds wins.
