Peskas empowers small-scale fishers in Timor-Leste with real-time ocean weather data, enhancing safety and sustainability. This app facilitates critical communication between government officials and fishers, enables easy reporting of illegal fishing and other incidents, and promotes marine conservation. Developed in partnership with WorldFish, Peskas supports improved livelihoods and nutrition access through informed, safe fishing practices in rural coastal communities.
