Poker vs Dealer GAME
Two fights, one hand of cards.
Every hand of Showdown puts you in two contests at once. One ante goes into the Table Pot, where you play the whole table for the lot. Another is staked against the house, where you play the dealer straight up. Win one and you are paid. Win both outright and you Sweep — five antes extra, on the house.
THE DEALER'S CLIMB
You get five cards. The dealer starts with none, then builds a hand one face-up card at a time. Between cards, you act:
• HOLD — stand pat and watch the next card land.
• FORGE — pay an ante into the pot and trade a card for a fresh one from the deck.
• BAIL — walk away with half of everything you have committed. The stake you abandon falls into the pot for whoever is left.
You are never guessing blind. You watch the house's hand assemble card by card, and every card changes what your own five are worth.
PICK YOUR KICKER
Before the climb, secretly mark one of your cards as the kicker. If its rank matches the dealer's final card and you beat the dealer, your winnings double. That is a Kicker Strike, and it turns a thin hand into a real one.
THE PRESSURE ROUND
After the dealer's third card — and only then — you can double your stake against the house. Beat the dealer from there and the doubled stake pays 3 to 1 instead of even money. Pressure and a Kicker Strike stack: a pressured strike pays six times the stake.
THE REGULARS
You are not playing an empty table. Two regulars sit with you, each with their own read on when to hold, when to forge, and when to cut and run. Learn them and you learn when the pot is actually worth chasing.

Hands played, win rate, biggest win, best streak, sweeps, kicker strikes and bails — plus the book of hands you have made and your last twenty results. Achievements unlock as you go, and every payout is listed in plain language before you risk a chip.
