Sideline: Gig Economy Story GAME

You moved in broke. Your cousin Jamie gave you the couch and didn't ask when you'd leave. Everything after that is up to you.

Sideline is a swipe-card story about the gig economy: the delivery apps, the debt, the ratings, and the quiet cost of climbing out. Every card is a decision with two sides. Swipe left or right. There is no undo.

WHAT YOU BALANCE
Five things move with every choice, and they pull against each other:
- Money — you start $500 in the hole
- Health — the body you are spending to earn
- Reputation — your standing on the platform
- Jamie — the person who took you in
- Ethics — what you were willing to do to get here

Push one up and another comes down. That is the whole game.

SEVEN CHAPTERS
From the couch and a borrowed phone charger to a logistics company with your name on it. Each chapter has its own deck, its own artwork, and its own soundtrack. A run draws a different subset of cards each time, so two playthroughs are not the same story.

FOUR CRISES
Let a stat fall too far and the game takes over. Burnout, collections, deactivation, eviction — each one is its own deck you have to play your way out of. They are not game overs. They are what the run costs you.

FIVE ENDINGS
The last card asks whether you still have the people you started with, and whether you would do it the same way again. Jamie and Ethics decide which of five endings you get. All five are reachable. None of them is the obvious "win".

WHAT'S IN IT
- 387 hand-written cards across seven chapters
- 5 endings, 4 crisis decks, 64 illustrations
- Full English and Turkish, switchable any time
- The core game plays entirely offline
- No in-app purchases, no account required
- Optional rewarded ads for a few choices — entirely your call, never required
- One save, kept on your device

Sideline is a short game. A run takes about half an hour. It is meant to be replayed.
