Text Survivor is a portrait survival action game made entirely of text.

Drag @ across the screen, slip through swarms of A-Z enemies, and fight back with automatically fired * shots.
Defeat enemies to collect EXP, level up, and choose one of three upgrades to shape your build.

Rapid increases your fire rate.
Power makes each hit stronger.
Range lets your shots travel farther.
Move helps you escape faster.
Pierce shot cuts through multiple enemies.
Blast shot catches nearby enemies in the explosion.

Each upgrade changes how your @ survives.

You will also unlock text weapons such as (), [], and <>.
Hold the line with barriers, strike with warp attacks, and push enemies back with boomerangs.
Tiny symbols become your weapons in a battlefield made only of characters.

At the end of each stage, a numbered boss appears.
From Boss 9 to Boss 0.
With every boss you defeat, the text-only world grows more intense.

There are no flashy characters.
No huge 3D models.
Only @, A-Z, *, and your finger.

But the moment you slip through a narrow gap...
The moment you survive with just a little HP left...
The moment your upgrades click and your screen fills with a storm of symbols...

A simple battlefield of characters becomes strangely hard to put down.

Survive until the final 0.
