The Evolution Game

Most creature games let you pick what you become. This one makes you earn it — by building the world your animal lives in.

SHAPE THE LAND
Paint your world block by block: grassland, forest, conifer, rock, snow, rivers and sea. Every species reads the biome, the temperature and the plants around it, and evolves down the path the terrain allows. Change the land and you change what your creature becomes.

A live hint tells you where you stand as you paint. Green if the block moves you toward the species you're aiming for, red if it takes you away, amber if you're about to break a path you already had.

274 REAL SPECIES
From Tiktaalik hauling itself out of the Devonian to the sabre-toothed cats, the great whales and the giant vampire bat. Every one is a real animal with its own model, its own biome preferences and its own line of descent. Eighty-eight of them evolve, most down more than one branch.

BATTLE BY TYPE
A full type chart, 270 attacks and stat stages, status effects, criticals and multi-hits. Power is tied to accuracy, so the heavy hitters cost you risk and the reliable ones keep you alive. Every creature has at least one attack it can count on.

RAISE, DON'T JUST COLLECT
Natures shift your stats. Friendship grows through battles and unlocks more room to shape them. Send your animal out foraging for hours at a time and it keeps working while the app is closed.

CLIMB THE LEAGUES
Asynchronous PvP across four leagues. Build a defence team, take on other players' teams, and move up.

NO ADS. EVER.
No banners, no interstitials, no rewarded video, no third-party trackers. The game is quiet on purpose.
