Umbra Oath is a dark action game with a painted gothic look, where light is your weapon and every enemy strike is a choice. Read the glint, answer at the right moment and carry your oath through a world swallowed by the eclipse.
READ THE STRIKE
• Yellow glint: parry it at the moment of impact.
• Red glint: it cannot be parried. Shadow Step through it.
• Step at the very last moment and time slows for an Eclipse Moment.
• Hit an ember glob at the right moment to send it back.
THE LANTERN IS YOUR WEAPON
• Veils only show in the light. Find them, then cut them down.
• Your hits feed the ember in your lantern. Ember widens its glow and powers your skills.
• Cast the Lantern Hook: pull yourself up to a hanging lantern, drag light foes to you or rip away a guardian's shield.
• Finish weakened enemies with an execution.
BOSSES THAT CHANGE THE FIGHT
• The Snuffing Abbess puts out your lantern and plunges the arena into darkness.
• The Eclipsed Twin, your own shadow, fights with your moves and splits into clones.
• Each boss shifts through phases as it weakens.
WEAPONS WITH A VOICE
• Every weapon has its own trail, light, sound and skill.
• Pair a weapon with the right lantern for a set bonus.
• Grow the Oath Constellation skill tree to unlock new moves and skills.
• Try items in a full-screen live preview in the shop.
BUILT FOR TOUCH
• Floating joystick: push lightly to walk, all the way to run.
• Adjustable button layout, graphics quality and vibration.
• Daily quests and a login calendar.
