Everyone already has a weather app. Nobody has one that puts YOUR animal on the screen, in today's actual weather, every single morning.

WeatherSpirit asks one question when you open it — which animal is yours? — and then answers the question you were really asking. Not "what is the temperature." What do I do about it.


WHAT IT TELLS YOU

Horse — the deepest path:
• Blanket Call — what to put on tonight, matched to the rugs you actually own and adjusted for clip, coat, age, body condition and turnout.
• Strip-by — the hour a warming day will cook a horse in a rug they were right to be wearing at dawn. This is the one a forecast is uniquely able to give you.
• Ride Window — the best stretch today, rated by its worst hour rather than its average, with the reason it is not better.
• Footing — how the ground has actually dried since the last rain, not a guess from today's sky.
• Water Watch — intake as a range, and the hour a trough starts to freeze.

Dog:
• Walk Window, scored on heat index, cold, wind and daylight.
• Pavement — the hours to stay off asphalt, with an explicit note for flat-faced breeds, who tolerate heat far worse.
• Coat call, and what YOU should wear to stand around in it.

Cat is its own thing now, not a smaller dog. Sunbeam says where the sun lands indoors, hour by hour — solar position, so it works offline and days ahead — plus a comfort watch, a knock-on-the-bonnet warning on the first freezing night, a screens-in nudge on the first warm day, and a shedding forecast three weeks early. Exotic stays light: a habitat band for rabbits, chickens, ferrets, mini pigs and more. Every species gets a weather-correct picture every day and every call that could keep an animal safe.


BUILT TO WORK WHERE ANIMALS LIVE

Barns have bad signal. So:
• Everything except the forecast itself works with no connection at all — every advisory, every setting, sunrise and sunset, the full picture library.
• Place search works in Airplane Mode. Airport code, ZIP or city — the data is in the app, and no geocoding service is ever contacted.
• A failed refresh never blanks the screen. You get the last good forecast with its age shown plainly, rather than an error.


YOUR ANIMAL, YOUR NUMBERS

Every constant behind every recommendation is visible and editable, with the reasoning next to it. The app ships with defensible defaults drawn from published husbandry guidance, then gets out of the way. Disagree with a number? Change it. This horse runs cold whatever the chart says? Set it for that horse alone.


NO ACCOUNT. NO TRACKING. NOT EVER.

There is no sign-up, because there is nothing to sign up to. What leaves your device: a coordinate rounded to about a kilometre, to fetch a forecast. That is it. No name, no email, no device identifier, no advertising identifier, no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no ad SDK, and no tracker of any kind is in the binary. Delete All My Data does exactly that, needs no network, and leaves the app as it was on first launch.
