Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi or local network.
Open WiChat and allow the required permissions.
Discover nearby WiChat users automatically.
Start chatting and share text, images, videos, or contacts directly.
Privacy and data control
Local chat messages are stored on your device for your convenience.
You can delete messages and clear conversations at any time.
You can delete your account from Settings > Delete Account by confirming your password.
Account deletion starts immediately and typically completes within minutes.
Deletion removes your Firebase account, profile, feedback, block-list records, and local app data tied to your account.
Messages already delivered to another person remain on their device.
Permissions
Local network / Wi-Fi: To discover and connect with nearby devices
Photos / Media: To send and save images and videos you choose to share
Contacts: Optional, only if you want to share a contact
Biometrics: Optional, only if you enable app lock
Internet: Required for sign-in, account services, premium, ads, and feedback features
Requirements
