What is YMGX?

"Yaa ​​Ma Gëna Xam" means "let's learn together" in Wolof.

More than just a quiz, YMGX is a learning tool that allows you to strengthen your knowledge of African citizenship and culture while having fun.

Launched in Senegal and distributed in Niger under the name Wa Ye Wa ("awakening" in Hausa), YMGX is now available on mobile devices, enabling even more young people across Africa to learn together.

YMGX is used in over 45 schools in Senegal and Niger, and soon in other West and Central African countries.
Teachers use it as a teaching aid to reinforce curriculum learning while making the experience more engaging.

The game has facilitated inter-school competitions in six regions of Senegal (Dakar, Fatick, Ziguinchor, Kolda, Thiès, and Tambacounda), directly reaching 7,500 students and indirectly reaching 15,000 children.
