AI Bike Mirror

AI Bike Mirror turns a phone mounted on the back of a bike into a smart rear-view camera.

It streams live rear-facing video over WiFi to any browser on a 2nd phone attached to your bicycle's handlebars.

The app performs object detection to spot cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles approaching from behind.

For each vehicle it tracks, it estimates distance and closing speed.

If a vehicle approaches too fast or enters a defined safety area behind your bike an identifying box around the vehicle turns from green to red and the phone sounds an alarm. This warning gives the rider an audible heads-up without needing to look at a screen.

This is not a certified safety device — the distance and speed figures are rough monocular machine vision estimates, not measurements from a radar or depth sensor.
