QUR’AN FIRST

Qur’an First is an optional digital wellbeing feature that helps users pause before opening selected social media apps and spend a short moment reading the Quran.

Users can select supported social media apps and configure how many ayahs they want to read. An optional minimum reading duration can also be configured.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

Al-Quran 30 Juz uses the Android AccessibilityService API for the optional Qur’an First feature.

When Qur’an First is enabled, AccessibilityService is used to detect when selected social media apps are opened. This allows Al-Quran 30 Juz to offer a Quran reading moment before the user continues to the selected app.

AccessibilityService is not required for normal Quran reading. The service is activated only when the user chooses to enable Qur’an First and explicitly grants permission through Android Accessibility Settings.

Users can disable Qur’an First or revoke the AccessibilityService permission at any time.
