Baby Cry Detector turns the phone in your nursery into a cry monitor. It listens through the microphone, recognises real crying with on-device sound intelligence, and alerts you the moment it starts, so a dropped toy or a passing car is much less likely to set it off.

Everything runs on your phone. No internet needed, no account, no recordings. The sound is checked in memory and thrown away. Only the time and length of each cry are saved, here on your device and nowhere else.

ALERTS THAT ARE HARD TO MISS

Get a notification and vibration the moment crying starts. Turn on alarm alerts and the phone sounds like an alarm clock and repeats until you check it, even on silent. If listening ever stops unexpectedly, or the battery runs low during the night, the app warns you instead of staying quiet.

UNDERSTAND THE CRYING, NOT JUST HEAR IT

Every cry is saved with its time, length and intensity. Tag what it was about, hungry, nappy, wind or teething, and the app starts showing you patterns. See when your baby cries most, how long cries last, how today compares with yesterday, and which reason comes up most often.

One big button starts listening. A bedtime reminder nudges you at your usual hour. A Quick Settings tile starts monitoring without opening the app. A calm dark mode is gentle on your eyes at 3am. And when the doctor asks how often your baby cries at night, export the history as a spreadsheet and show them.

This app is a simple record of what the microphone heard. It is not a medical device and never replaces your own care and attention. Trust yourself, and talk to your doctor or health visitor if you are worried.
