Bike Repair & Maintenance Log APP
▶ STEP-BY-STEP REPAIR GUIDES
• 30 guides, from fixing a flat and plugging a tubeless tire to chain wear, gear indexing, brake pads, disc rub and saddle height.
• Each guide tells you about how long it takes, how hard it is and which tools you'll need.
• One step at a time, each with its own drawing. The screen stays on while a guide is open.
• Tap a part on the bike drawing (wheels, chain and gears, brakes, bar and stem, saddle, cranks and pedals, e-bike battery) to see its guides.
▶ WHAT'S WRONG?
• Pick what you hear or feel: a creak when pedaling, gears that skip, brakes that squeal or feel spongy, a wheel that wobbles, frequent flats and more (15 symptoms).
• See the likely causes, most common first, each with the guide that checks it.
• Causes that affect safety say so clearly: don't ride until it's fixed.
▶ A SERVICE TRACKER FOR EVERY BIKE
• Add your bikes with type, wheel size and gears.
• Add rides or an odometer reading to keep each bike's distance and riding time up to date.
• Track wear on the chain, cassette, brake pads, rotors, tires, sealant, cables, fork, shock, bearings and more.
• Set each interval by distance, months or riding hours, whichever comes first, using the value from the part's manual.
• See Due, Due soon and OK at a glance with what's left or over, plus one list of everything due across all your bikes.
• Mark a service done with the date, distance, a note and a photo. The interval restarts from there and the history stays with the bike.
• Optional reminder on the morning a month-based interval is due.
▶ WORKSHOP CALCULATORS
• Tire pressure starting estimate from the load on each wheel, for tires from 23 to 37 mm, never above the tire or rim maximum you enter.
• Gearing: ratio, development, gain ratio, gear inches and speed at your cadence.
• Chain length in links for 2× and 3× derailleur bikes, with the big-big cross-check.
• Spoke length for conventional J-bend wheels.
• Saddle height first estimate with the 109% inseam method.
▶ YOUR RECORDS
• Kilometers or miles.
• Backup files with your bikes, history and photos, and a restore that shows what will be added or updated before anything changes.
• Export the service history as a CSV file.
• Deleted entries stay in Trash for 30 days, with Undo right away.
▶ GOOD TO KNOW
• The guides are general guidance written by the Bike Fix team. Your component maker's instructions always come first, and safety jobs tell you when to stop and see a mechanic.
• No torque figures are guessed: use the value printed on the part or in its manual.
• Hydraulic brake bleeding is explained as an overview only.
• Distance is what you enter. The app does not record rides with GPS or import them.
• There are no built-in service intervals; you enter the ones from your parts' manuals.
• Calculator results are estimates and theoretical values, not measurements.
• No account, no sign-in. Your bikes and history are stored on your phone. The camera is used only when you take a service photo.
• Ads appear on list screens, and sometimes after you finish a guide or save a service, never in the middle of a guide.
