EBC - Exam Browser Client

EBC (Exam Browser Client) is a web-based exam companion application that helps schools and committees deliver a more structured, secure, and integrated exam experience.

EBC connects directly to the EBC Admin Panel, enabling schools to centrally manage exam identities, information, schedules, and technical configurations without the need to change or update the application on students' devices.

INTEGRATED WITH ADMIN PANEL
Manage all exam information through the web Admin Panel and instantly display it in the student's EBC app:
a. Institution Identity: School name, official logo, academic year, and dynamic banner.
b. Exam Settings: Exam title, exam link (URL), rules, and implementation instructions.
c. Agenda Management: Daily schedule, subject list, and integrated academic calendar.
d. All data is centrally updated to ensure participants always receive valid and up-to-date information.

EXAM MODE & DEVICE PROTECTION
EBC offers various environmental protections to maintain participant focus and minimize the potential for device breaches:
a. Kiosk / Lockdown Mode: Locks the interface and restricts navigation outside the exam session.
b. Multitasking Prevention: Restricts split-screen and floating window features.
c. Display Security: Screenshot protection and screen recording restrictions.
d. Environment Check: Detects emulators and verifies device system configuration.
e. Input & System Control: Copy-paste restrictions, keyboard whitelisting, and automatic cache clearing after the session.
f. The availability and effectiveness of security features may vary depending on the Android OS version, device manufacturer interface, and granted system permissions.

AGENDA, ANNOUNCEMENTS, & NOTIFICATIONS
A one-stop information center to keep participants prepared:
a. Integrated Agenda: Students can monitor course schedules and activity agendas directly from the app homepage.
b. Announcements & Notifications: Organizers can broadcast urgent instructions, room reminders, or schedule changes quickly to all participant devices.

EXAM SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY
EBC functions as a modern WebView-based client-side exam browser. This application is compatible with various online exam architectures accessible through standard web browsers, including internal school learning management systems (LMS), online evaluation forms, and the institution's own standalone web exam application.

IMPORTANT FOR SCHOOLS & COMMITTEES
EBC is not a test-generating server.
Question bank management, participant accounts, answer storage, corrections, and assessments are still processed entirely by the respective institution's exam server or platform. EBC acts as a client browser to facilitate secure access and provide a unified information center.
