What is ePrescription?
An ePrescription is a prescription for medicinal products issued in electronic form. An ePrescription issued by a doctor is stored in the Central Repository of Electronic Prescriptions (CÚER).
Each ePrescription is assigned a unique identifier. When dispensing, the pharmacist reads the identifier and searches for the ePrescription in CÚER. Subsequently, the prescribed medicinal product is issued to the patient and information about the dispensing is recorded in CÚER.
What is an eVoucher?
An eVoucher is a voucher for medical devices issued in electronic form. The issued eVoucher is stored in the Central Repository of Electronic Vouchers (CÚEP).
Each eVoucher is assigned a unique identifier. In a pharmacy, medical device dispensing shop or optician, an employee reads the identifier and searches for the eVoucher in CÚEP. Subsequently, the prescribed medical device is issued to the patient and information about the dispensing is recorded in CÚEP.
Various types of medical devices can be prescribed with eVoucher, such as glasses, contact lenses, crutches, wheelchairs or incontinence aids.
