EZKarta – Your Digital Health ID

EZKarta is the official application of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic (mzd.gov.cz) providing access to electronic health services. The application is intended for individuals using the Czech healthcare system. Access requires identity verification through the Citizen Identity (NIA – National Identification and Authentication Point) and its supported authentication methods, including BankID.

Key features:

Patient Profile – Access your information from the National Patient Registry.
Health Documents – Receive discharge reports, examination results, and other medical documentation electronically within the app.
RID – Your anonymous patient identifier for secure and unambiguous identification when visiting healthcare providers.
Vaccination Record – View all vaccinations recorded since January 1, 2023.
eMedical Certificates – Access medical fitness certificates for motor vehicle licensing.
Preventive Care and Screening Examinations – Review your completed preventive check-ups and screening examinations.

EZKarta is operated in accordance with Czech legislation. The application provides access to the data of the authenticated user as well as individuals whose data the user is legally authorized to access or has been granted access to based on their consent.
