G Navigation

G Navigation helps you find directions on your phone and view directions on your compatible watch. Prepare your route before you start and only operate when you've stopped in a safe place.

NAVIGATION ON YOUR PHONE

• Find locations by name, address, or select on the map.

• Create routes for cars, motorcycles, bicycles, or walking.

• View distance, estimated time, and a list of turns before you go.

• Light/dark interface, supports Vietnamese, English, and Chinese.

DIRECTIONS ON YOUR WATCH

• View turn directions, distance, and route information on supported watches.

• Connect compatible Huawei, Xiaomi/Redmi Vela, and Amazfit Zepp OS models; view the list in the app.

• Receive Google Maps directions when you proactively grant notification access.

• Maintain the navigation session even when the phone screen is off, with a notification indicating the active session. Background playback and resuming depend on the device, Bluetooth, and battery saver settings.

APP CALLS

• Option to display calls and caller names from Zalo, Telegram, or Viber on compatible watches.

• Listen, reject, or end calls when the phone, watch, and app support calling. Names, controls, and sounds are not uniformly supported across all devices.

• Notification access permissions must be enabled. Contacts permission is optional for creating temporary contacts to support name lookup; app-created contacts are cleaned up after the call. This feature can be disabled in Settings.

SETUP

• Install the appropriate companion app: Huawei Health, Mi Fitness, or Zepp, along with G Navigation on a supported watch.

• Pair and select your watch in the app.

• Review the explanation of each permission before granting it: location for navigation, Bluetooth for connectivity, notifications for session status. Additional permissions are introduced by feature.

• An internet connection is required to download maps, find locations, and calculate routes.

PREMIUM

• Some navigation features, clock synchronization, app calls, and caller ID display require Premium access.

• Trials are available for eligible accounts and devices.

• Premium is a one-time purchase through Google Play, not a monthly subscription. See pricing and unlocked content in the app before purchasing.

• Log in with the correct account and use the transaction recovery feature to restore access.

PRIVACY

• No ads, no sale of user data.

• The app and its providers process data needed for maps, navigation, connectivity, accounts, and Premium verification; the map SDK may process operational data.

• Chat content and call audio are not recorded by G Navigation. Call names and status are transmitted to the companion system/app and watch when you enable this feature.

• See the data policy, retention period, and how to request deletion in the app. You can revoke consent, delete local data, and delete your account in Settings.
