MÓWik

MÓWik is an assistive and alternative communication software for Android tablets, designed to be used by people with disabilities to alleviate or compensate for the effects of injury, disease or disability. It is a fully Polish software, equipped with Polish female and male speech synthesis and over 10,000 symbols. It is intended for people of all ages, mainly with aphasia, autism, mental retardation, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, dysarthria, who cannot communicate in a way that is understandable to others. It has the ability to adapt the interface to different disabilities, physical disabilities, age and gender. You can also take and insert photos, your own graphics and images from the Internet. The user can create entire sentences and statements from symbols, which are read by synthesized speech. Letters users can type information with the on-screen keyboard and read it using text-to-speech. The arrangement of dynamic tables allows the creation of grammatically correct statements in Polish. Each copy of the Software is equipped with starter boards which can be freely developed according to the user's needs. It is possible to create individual profiles for different users on one device, e.g. for testing for the needs of a school or clinic.

The set of symbols is adapted to the Polish language and our cultural circle. It is constantly being expanded and additional symbols can be downloaded for free.

It is possible to adjust the software support in the tablet for people with physical disabilities who cannot point their fingers at the symbols.
