MPI Brasil

The MPI Brasil Application is a quick search tool on MPI in order to assist health professionals in clinical decision making. This application contains the main PIM available in Brazil, according to the Brazilian Consensus of Potentially Inappropriate Medications for the Elderly, in addition to information about the clinical conditions in which PIM should be avoided, therapeutic alternatives and deprescription guidelines (gradual withdrawal through decreasing doses ) and monitoring (if the use of MPI is really necessary). This information was compiled from quality scientific evidence that will be available wherever the health professional is, helping in decision-making about the safest medications to be used in elderly patients.
