IN THE CAR
With Android Auto the app is right on the car's screen: station name with the frequency and the dial, presets within reach, the full station list and SCAN. Changing station works from the steering wheel controls.

Drag the pointer along the dial to move anywhere in the band
Tap the right edge of the screen for the next station, the left edge for the previous one
Press and hold a preset to store the station you are listening to
One tap on SCAN starts it, another stops it
