Piegrieztne: Fabric Layout

Plan how your cutting pieces fit before using your fabric.

Piegrieztne arranges measured outlines within your fabric width and available length. Review each piece, choose its quantity and allowed turns, then compare a compact layout with your original pattern.

BRING YOUR OUTLINES
Import supported SVG outlines with physical dimensions, or add rectangles, L-shaped panels, tapered panels and exact outline points. Review dimensions and direction after importing. Keep the original cutting outline, including any seam allowances you need.

ARRANGE AND CHECK
Set the fabric width, available length and cutting clearance in millimetres. Work with up to 40 pieces per plan. Choose fixed direction, half turns or quarter turns for each outline. The search tries several arrangements and a separate geometry check verifies borders, clearance and piece placement.

READ THE CUTTING PLAN
See numbered shapes on a fabric grid, zoom into the placement and read each piece's position. The result reports used length and identifies incomplete layouts. Only a complete, checked layout can be exported.

KEEP A REUSABLE PROJECT
Save plans on your device. Export a project copy and restore it later, export a measured SVG, or save a PDF overview with the piece positions. Files use Android's system file picker, including any document providers you choose.

KNOW THE LIMITS
The search finds a feasible arrangement; it does not guarantee the smallest possible layout. The app does not measure fabric from photos, draft patterns, add seam allowances or infer mirrored pieces. Check grain, fabric face, folds, stretch, stripes and matching prints yourself before cutting. The PDF is a scaled overview, not a full-size cutting template. Always check SVG output scale against a ruler.

Piegrieztne works without an account. It stores your plans locally and does not request network or broad storage access. Save a project copy before changing phones or uninstalling the app.
