SPLAT: Block Puzzle Game GAME
A bug crawls along the top of your stack — the exact surface every falling piece lands on. Clear lines, keep the well low, beat your high score. But every move now asks a second question: where does this piece fit, and will it kill the bug? Drop a piece on it and the run is over.
No timers. No lives. No waiting. One thumb, three moves, and a creature that walks wherever it likes.
HOW TO PLAY
➤ Swipe sideways — move the falling piece
➤ Tap — rotate it
➤ Swipe down — drop faster
➤ Fill a row across the well to clear it and score
➤ Never let a piece land on the creature
FOURTEEN LEAGUES, FOURTEEN CREATURES
Beat the score threshold in a single run and you are promoted for good. Each creature moves differently, so each league is a different puzzle:
▸ Beetle — crawls along the top, climbs one cell
▸ Fly — walks sideways, but flies up to any height
▸ Ant — quicker than the beetle, and friends march in from the side
▸ Lizard — runs on hind legs, climbs two cells
▸ Spider — throws web to the ledge and slowly climbs it
▸ Snake — four cells long, and any segment can be crushed
▸ Flea — does not walk, it jumps a cell across and four up
▸ Mosquito — flies, and sometimes sucks a block dry until it is gone
▸ Stink bug — puffs smoke that blots out the well, while a mole digs below
▸ Grasshopper — never walks: it jumps two or three cells, rarely where you want
▸ Bee — daubs blocks with honey, and a honeyed block survives one line clear
▸ Snail — creeps over everything: up the walls and upside down under ledges
▸ Moth — lives inside a block, and the mole below can take a whole column
▸ Termites — a huddle of three that chew a three-block tunnel through your stack
Every league has its own pastel palette, its own death and its own leaderboard. Cleared leagues stay open: a beetle score still counts when you are deep in snake.

WHY IT IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS
A tall stack punishes you three ways at once. There is less time, because the piece falls three rows instead of fifteen. There are fewer places it fits. And there are fewer points, because the score pays for empty rows. On top of that, the one column where the piece does fit is often the column the creature is standing in.
That is the whole design. A classic block puzzle is a question of space. This one is a question of space and of a small life you are responsible for.
IF YOU LIKE BLOCK PUZZLE GAMES
If you play block puzzle games, brick games or wood block puzzle games to unwind, SPLAT will feel familiar for about ninety seconds: same falling blocks, same clean lines, same quiet logic puzzle. Then the bug walks under a falling piece, and it stops being a relaxing puzzle game and starts being a decision.
