Private Sound & Voice Recorder

🔒 Record audio 100% offline. Zero internet permission.
Private Sound Recorder is a clean, ad-free voice recorder that physically cannot send your audio anywhere. No cloud upload, no account, no tracking. Your recordings stay on your phone, and the app works fine in airplane mode.

🎙️ Key features
• Fully offline recording: no internet permission, no background network calls
• Live waveform: see your audio levels in real time while you record
• Choose your format: WAV for lossless quality, M4A for small files, 3GP for maximum savings
• Background recording: keep recording with the screen off or while using other apps
• Unlimited length: record for as long as your storage allows
• Playback controls: pause, resume, seek, and skip back or forward a few seconds
• Simple file management: rename, share, and delete recordings in one place
• Dark mode: easy on the eyes during late-night lectures or studio sessions
• No ads, no sign-up, no paywalls

🛡️ Why "no internet permission" matters
Most recorder apps ask for internet access for ads, analytics, or cloud sync. Any app with that permission can, in principle, send data off your device. Private Sound Recorder never requests it, so Android itself blocks the app from going online. That is a guarantee enforced by your phone's operating system, not just a promise in a privacy policy.

This makes it a sensible choice for confidential meetings, source interviews, medical or legal notes, and anything you would rather keep to yourself. You can verify it in the Data Safety section: no data collected, no data shared.
