SBEM

SBEM was founded under the name of the Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism of Rio de Janeiro on September 1, 1950, on the initiative of José Schermann, Francisco Arduíno, Clementino Fraga Filho, Heitor Felix and Nelson Nogueira. The first Statute was drafted in August 1950, and was maintained until 1954.
