Shape Clash: Auto Battler GAME

Draft. Position. Watch them fight.

Shape Clash is an offline auto battler roguelite drawn in a school notebook: a strategy game where every decision happens before the fight. Draft googly-eyed doodle shapes, position them on a squared-paper battlefield, then take your hands off the glass and watch the battle resolve itself — cheering, wincing, and quietly regretting that healer you left in the front row.

Every run is a fresh expedition. Permadeath, seeded maps, no two notebooks alike.

▲ THE COUNTER TRIANGLE
Triangles pierce circles. Circles engulf squares. Squares blunt triangles. Stars answer to no one. A countering hit lands for 1.5x damage, so half the strategy is reading the enemy's formation and answering it before the bell goes.

◈ POSITION IS THE PUZZLE
In most auto battlers the build is everything. Here, where each shape stands matters just as much. The front row soaks. The back row snipes. Adjacency auras only reach the shapes standing next to them, so the middle slot is worth fighting over. Field two of a family and its set bonus switches on; field all four families and the whole class gets a bonus. Keep identical twins un-merged and they count twice; merge them and you get one much bigger shape instead. You cannot have both.

☠ THREE STAGES, A BOSS ON EVERY PAGE
Climb a branching 12-floor page — fights, champions, shops, treasure, campfires, forges, written events, and a wager that stakes your gold on a harder fight. There is a hidden corridor up the left margin for players who would rather take the dangerous way.

At the top of every page waits a boss that bends the rules, drawn from a pool of 11. One shockwaves your entire front row. One photocopies your team and fights you with it. One erases every shield you own. The Red Pen rewrites itself halfway through and comes back meaner.

Beat one and the game asks the only question that matters: walk home safe, or press one page deeper? Deeper means a bigger battlefield, nastier enemies, and everything you have banked back on the table.

★ THE BACK PAGE
Clear all three stages and one survivor comes home with you — named by you, frozen exactly as it fought, bonded trinket still on. Heroes live on the notebook's back cover between runs, wandering, napping in the margins, squeaking when poked. Take one along on a future expedition and it fights at its saved level with a crest earned from your hardest clear.

Lose that run and it is gone. Forever. Nothing else in the game costs as much.

◷ TODAY'S PAGE
A daily roguelite challenge: one page with the same map, waves and boss for every player that day, in three difficulty tiers. Keep your streak alive, or just see how far the Exam lets you get.

✎ THE LONG GAME
- 31 draftable shapes across four families, most unlocked by doing the thing they embody
- 27 relics and 20 trinkets that bend a rule instead of adding a number
- 6 commanders that change how a run opens
- An eight-tier ascension ladder for when normal stops hurting
- Endless mode, unlocked by your first full clear
- A Yearbook tracking every shape, foe, relic, trinket and boss you have met

◉ HOW WE PLAY FAIR
- No energy bars, no timers, no login nags
- No account, no sign-in, no tutorial wall — your first run teaches you as you go, in pencil, in the margin
- Plays fully offline
- Every ad is optional, tells you the reward before you tap it, and never interrupts a battle
- No pay-to-win, and nothing random is ever for sale. Purchases are cosmetics, Back Page shelf space, or Extra Credit: an optional expansion with a fifth shape family, new bosses and harder ascensions. New ways to play, never an edge in the game you already own.

Bring a sharpener.
