Tags Gallery APP
The app never copies your files. It stores only references to the media you picked, so your gallery stays exactly as it is.
BUILD YOUR OWN TAG SYSTEM
• Create tags with a name and a color, and edit or delete them at any time
• Sort your tags by name, date, or color, and filter them by color
• Select several tags at once to delete them in a single action
• A handful of example tags are there on first launch to get you started
ADD MEDIA IN BULK, FINE-TUNE PER FILE
• Pick photos and videos through the system Android Photo Picker
• Apply a shared set of tags to the whole batch at once
• Tap any single item to add or exclude tags just for that file
• A grid preview shows everything you are about to save
SEARCH BY TAGS
• Combine tags in three modes: All, Any, and Exclude
• Results update live as you change the selection
• Open any result full screen with a smooth transition
• Select several results at once to share them or remove them from the app
A VIEWER FOR PHOTOS AND VIDEO ALIKE
• Pinch-to-zoom images, with detail loaded as you zoom in
• Video playback with play/pause, mute, and 5-second skip
• Edit the tags of the file you are viewing without leaving the viewer
• Share the file, or remove it from the app
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
TagsGallery never asks you for a single runtime permission — not for storage, not for your gallery, not for anything else. Media is chosen through the system photo picker, so the app only ever sees the individual files you hand it, never your gallery as a whole.
There are no servers, no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. The app does not declare the INTERNET permission, so it is technically incapable of sending anything anywhere.
Your tags, and the links between tags and files, live in the app's private storage on your device and nowhere else.
"Remove from app" removes only the entry inside TagsGallery. The file itself stays on your device, untouched.

DESIGN
Built with Material Design 3 and Jetpack Compose. Light and dark themes, dynamic color on Android 12 and newer, and an adaptive layout that puts the extra room on tablets and in landscape to use, with a tag panel beside the media grid instead of a bottom sheet.
No ads. No in-app purchases. No subscriptions.
