Travel Log Pro records your route by GPS and lays it out with your photos and notes on a map and a day-by-day timeline, while the places you visit fill in on your conquest map automatically.

■ GPS logger that runs with the screen off
A foreground service keeps recording with the screen off, saving each point as it arrives, so nothing is lost if the app closes. No limits on recordings. Live distance, moving time, pace or speed, altitude, elevation gain and GPS accuracy.

■ Travel and recording modes
9 travel modes, from walking to flying, set the line color and pace or speed display. Record every second, every few seconds, or every 20 s to save battery.

■ Automatic clean-up
Inaccurate fixes, tunnel jumps and drift at rest are dropped (plane speeds stay), gaps of 10+ minutes start a new segment, and tracks are named "Start → End".

■ Notification, tile and widget
Pause, stop or "Mark this spot" from the notification. Start or stop with one tap from a Quick Settings tile or a home screen widget.

■ A check that keeps recording running
Checks location, notifications, battery optimization and auto-revoke, and opens what needs fixing. If a restart or update interrupts a recording, continue the same track.

■ Travel journal, day by day
Each trip shows its tracks, photos and notes on a "Day 1, Day 2…" timeline with daily distance. Set its dates and everything recorded in them joins automatically.

■ Notes (travel diary)
Title, text, mood, place and photos. "Mark this spot" while recording saves a check-in.

■ Photo map
Photos appear on the map where they were taken. "Choose files" keeps each photo's location; others are placed using your track from that time. Thumbnails stay in the app even if photo access is revoked.

■ Conquest map (fills in automatically)
Japan's 47 prefectures fill in from your tracks, photos, notes and imported GPX, with your count (x / 47), completion rate and first-visit dates. Tap a prefecture to add places from before you installed.
Premium adds 5 levels (passed through, stopped by, visited, stayed, lived) set from how long you stayed and editable by hand, a want-to-go list, the world map (236 countries, by continent) and the US map (50 states + Washington, D.C.).

■ Maps and offline saving
Place names in your language, a period filter and 5 map styles. Save the visible area for offline use.

■ Track details
Distance, moving time, average and max speed, elevation gain and loss, and a chart you trace on the map.

■ Export, import and backup (free)
Export a track, a trip or everything as GPX, KML or CSV, and import GPX or KML from other apps (they fill in the conquest map too). Back up to a ZIP file and restore on a new phone.
