Vakitçe

Vakitçe — A call to peace at every moment.

Vakitçe brings together accurate prayer times, reliable Adhan (call to prayer) notifications, Quran recitation, Khatim (completion of Quran recitation) tracking, Qibla (direction of prayer), and daily Zikr (remembrance of God) in one simple application. No mandatory calculations or tracking. The application displays a small banner ad on the main screen and a short ad (Google AdMob) upon startup — no ads appear within the worship streams. No ads are shown at all to those who support it through donations or subscriptions.

TRANSPARENCY

Vakitçe is NOT an official application or affiliate of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) — it has been independently developed. Prayer times and the "Prayer of the Day" (verses, hadiths, prayers) are taken from Diyanet's own publicly available services; no religious content is generated by artificial intelligence. The Arabic text and translation (Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır) in the Quran reading section are taken from a public domain source once and embedded in the application — it works offline, no account/API key is required. The Mosque Finder uses OpenStreetMap's free, publicly available Overpass API.

Ads are displayed via Google AdMob: a small banner on the main screen and a short splash screen when you open the application from scratch; a short information screen explaining why you are seeing ads appears before the splash screen. Ads do not intrude on worship streams (prayer times, adhan, Quran, prayers); the splash screen is not shown when you tap to open the adhan/prayer notification. No ads are shown to those who support with donations or subscriptions. There is NO third-party analytics for user tracking/profiling; only in-app event names are sent to Google for ad measurement. Only technical crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) is used to improve app stability — it contains no personal information. No account login is required for prayer times and daily content; data is pulled from Vakitçe's own server component.

Every prayer time is a call to peace.
