VaxAware: Vaccine Reminder

Keep every vaccination in one place, for everyone you look after.

VaxAware Global builds a dated schedule for each person in your household — children and adults — reminds you before a dose is due, and records what has already been given. Your records stay on your phone.

WHAT IT DOES

- One timeline per person
Add a profile, pick a schedule, and every dose is dated for you. Children follow their schedule from date of birth; adults start from the day you add them.

- Reminders before a dose is due
Choose the time of day and how much notice you want — on the day, one day, three days or a week. An optional Monday summary lists the week ahead.

- Mark doses as they happen
Tick a dose off from the list or straight from the notification. Progress is shown per person, so you can see at a glance who is up to date.

- Every date stays editable
A clinic reschedules, a dose is given early, a series starts late. Change any date and the reminder moves with it.

SCHEDULES BUILT IN

Three published schedules ship with the app, and the source of each is shown in the library:

- CDC 2025 — the United States child, adolescent and adult schedules
- WHO / EPI — the Expanded Programme on Immunization baseline
- Sri Lanka — the national immunisation programme

Rows that depend on risk conditions, travel or a clinician's judgement are listed separately and are never added to a timeline automatically. The app tells you they exist; it does not decide they apply to you.

YOUR RECORDS STAY ON YOUR PHONE

There is no account to create and no sign-in. Names, dates of birth, vaccine names, dates and notes are stored in the app's own private storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded, because there is no server to upload it to — we could not read your records if we wanted to.

The app works fully offline. Internet access is used only to show ads, and no information you enter is ever used to target them.

Delete a profile and it is gone immediately, along with its doses and reminders. Uninstalling removes everything.

PERMISSIONS

Notifications, run-after-restart and vibration deliver reminders. Internet, network state and the advertising ID serve ads. There is no camera, location, contacts, storage or health-app access.
