MyVoltStar Basic (Unreleased)

ATTENTION USERS: Google Voice will no longer work due to an update of GVoice app.

My Volt Star is similar to having Onstar services, it is not a replacement to Onstar! Compatible with Chevrolet Volt 2011 - 2015 and Opel Ampera 2012 - 2015

Requirements: Scantool.net OBDLink MX bluetooth adapter and a spare android phone with text o̶r̶ ̶d̶a̶t̶a̶ ̶s̶e̶r̶v̶i̶c̶e̶ ̶(̶g̶o̶o̶g̶l̶e̶ ̶v̶o̶i̶c̶e̶). Spare phone needs to be left inside the Volt in order for this app to work.


Installation and setup:
1.) Install MyVoltStar (open app, select your bluetooth device at least once, then accept what gmail address you want to use Google Voice with, I̶f̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶D̶e̶n̶y̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶m̶i̶s̶s̶i̶o̶n̶,̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶g̶o̶o̶g̶l̶e̶ ̶v̶o̶i̶c̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶o̶k̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶c̶c̶e̶p̶t̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶g̶v̶o̶i̶c̶e̶ ̶a̶c̶c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶o̶p̶t̶i̶o̶n̶.̶)̶

2.) Install "MacroDroid - Device Automation" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arlosoft.macrodroid
3.) Download and import Macrodroid backup database that is provided here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2Gysd4m6JHDSnI0Ql9PMVNpc28
4.) Turn on Macrodroid
