ShakeStrum turns your phone into a guitar you play by shaking.
Pick a chord and swing your phone down like a strum — the chord rings out. No finger positions to learn; you can play chords right away.

SHAKE TO PLAY
• Swing down for a down-strum, swing up for an up-strum
• Shake harder to play louder, softer to play quieter
• Swing slowly to pick notes one by one, quickly to strum them all
• You can also swipe the strings on the screen
• With a progression selected, give your wrist a quick twist to go to the next chord. The volume buttons work too

PICK A KEY, GET THE CHORDS
• Choose a key and its most common chords appear as buttons
• Add 7th, Maj7, m7, sus4, sus2, dim, aug, add9 and slash chords (like C/E)
• Or pick chords on the circle of fifths — chords in your key light up

CHORD PROGRESSIONS
• Popular progressions: Canon, Four-Chord (I–V–vi–IV), '50s, ii–V–I, 12-Bar Blues and more
• Whole songs too: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Happy Birthday to You, When the Saints Go Marching In
• Save your own song's progression (My Progressions)
• The next chord lights up as you play, so you always know what's coming

AUTO PLAY AND RHYTHM

• Set the tempo (or tap it in), time signature (4/4 or 3/4) and how often the chord changes

Record just the app's sound, then save it or share it by message or email. The microphone is not used.
