Vilk Vines APP

Hold to grab. Let go to fling. Miss the next vine and you splash into the mist.

That is the entire control scheme. It is not the entire game.

Vilk Vines is a one-finger swinging game set in a chunky pixel-art rainforest at dusk. Put a finger down and a vine shoots to the nearest anchor ahead. Lift it and your gibbon keeps every bit of speed it had. The swing does the rest, or it doesn't.

What you're actually doing
- Timing the release. Too early and you drop short. Too late and you fling yourself backwards.
- Choosing the anchor. Knots on branches stay where they are. Seed pods drift, bob and glide, so the arc you planned is already moving.
- Grabbing mangoes that hang between the branches. Long airborne flings count as soars, and back-to-back soars pay more each time.
- Going further than last time. The course never ends. It just gets wider gaps and more pods the deeper you go.

What keeps you coming back
- Your best reach, printed on the title screen.
- The daily route: one fixed course per day, with its own best and a streak for playing it on consecutive days.
- Six fur colors for your gibbon, paid for in mangoes you swung for. There is no other way to get them.
- A swing log with your last twelve runs.

What it doesn't have
No ads. No purchases. No account screen. No energy meter.

Settings has three switches: sound, haptics and reduce motion. Reduce motion kills the screen shake and the background drift and leaves the game itself alone.

Nobody is watching your runs. The game never goes online, and your mangoes, furs and records never leave the phone.
