"License Reader" is an application that reads license information from the IC chip of Japanese driver's licenses and My Number Licenses (Note 1) and displays the contents.

You can check your registered domicile, which is not listed on the license (driver's license only).

Entering PIN 2 is required to display the photo and registered domicile (driver's license only).

It also supports changes to the information recorded and non-standard characters.

It also supports reading My Number Licenses and My Number History Certificates (Note 2).

It automatically distinguishes between driver's licenses and My Number Licenses, etc.

Note 1: The official name of "My Number License" is "License Information Record Personal Number Card."

Note 2: The official name of "My Number History Certificate" is "Driving History Information Record Personal Number Card."

・If you enter the wrong information three times in a row (10 times for My Number Licenses and My Number History Certificates), access to the data on the card will be locked.

・This application does not directly verify the authenticity of driver's licenses, etc., or verify the identity of the user.

* Even if the information on your driver's license has been changed, the data on the IC chip may not have been updated.

* This app displays information based on the data on the IC chip; therefore, any errors in the data will be displayed as they are.

* The main function of this app is simply to display information read from the IC chip of your driver's license, etc.

* How you use the displayed information is left to the user.

* My Number Driver's Licenses and My Number History Certificates do not include information such as registered domicile, name, date of birth, and address. Therefore, the data structure differs from that of a driver's license, and the displayed content will also differ.

Some users have complained that the results are not displayed due to forgotten passwords or incorrect password entry, claiming this is a bug in the app. Passwords can be retrieved at a driver's license examination center, driver's license renewal center, or police station's license counter. Before filing a complaint, please check your password first.

"Unified Name (Kana)" is an official data item recorded on the IC driver's license. This field does not indicate the phonetic reading or pronunciation of the name.

"Unified Name (Kana)" is a conversion of the name's kanji characters to kana based on certain rules, and may not match the name or pronunciation on the card.

The IC driver's license records the kana-converted data. This app displays the data recorded on the IC driver's license as is. The character conversion specifications for "Unified Name (Kana)" are determined by the driver's license specifications and are not the app's own conversion or display error.

Please check the meaning of each item and refrain from giving low ratings or reporting bugs based on misunderstandings.
