[What is the WEB test]
It is an aptitude test (recruitment test) in job hunting.
It is an abbreviation for a test taken using a personal computer, and has become a standard in job hunting activities for recruiting new graduates.
Many of the companies listed in Rikunabi, Mynavi, Caritas, etc. use it when selecting for new graduates, and the weight is increasing year by year.
Most of the web tests are "home exam type" that you can take from anywhere.
There is also a "venue exam type" where you take the exam at the venue prepared by the company, which is called a test center.

Many large and popular companies require WEB testing as a condition for submitting an entry sheet (ES). In addition, some companies conduct web tests as a primary selection for attendees of company information sessions.

If you take the test without preparing for the web test, you may be dropped out of the selection process without even reaching the first interview.

This app introduces 3 subjects of "coefficient", "language" and "English" of SHL's WEB test "Tamatebako series".
There are several types of question formats in each subject, but the combination method differs depending on the company.

Format (1): Four arithmetic operations
A format in which a large number of linear equations are asked.
In the actual exam, 50 questions are asked with a time limit of 9 minutes.

Format (2): Table calculation
Calculate using the table. There is one table, and the corresponding questions are asked one by one.
In the actual exam, 29 questions are asked with a time limit of 15 minutes.

Format (3): Calculation of missing table
A part of the table is missing and becomes a "?" Mark, and the rule is read from the other numerical values ​​in the table, and the numerical value corresponding to the "?" Mark is answered. There is one table, and the corresponding questions are asked one by one.

The passing lines of WEB tests such as SPI and Tamatebako vary from company to company.
Some companies pass even 30%, while others have high borders of 70% and 80%.
However, since the Tamatebako tends to be used as a "first step" (dropping test takers with low scores because there is not enough time to interview everyone), it is not possible to "pass" even if the score is not so high. I can do it.

However, I don't like the idea that "it's just enough, so it's okay if you can get it as it is". This is because even when the selection progresses to the interview, the score of the Tamatebako is taken into consideration and the pass or fail may be decided.

At the time of the interview, you will have all the data that has been used in the selection process, such as resumes, ES (entry sheets), and WEB test results.
Since the final pass / fail of an interview is often a comprehensive evaluation, whether or not the ES (entry sheet) is good, whether or not the writing is good, and sometimes whether or not the appearance is good is also evaluated.
Of course, the impressions of the examinees who passed the WEB test with outstanding results and the examinees who passed the cut-off line at the last minute are very different.
Therefore, it is important not to worry too much about the "passing" line of the Tamatebako series, but to prepare well and take the test.
