5 Minutes Bible

Most of us don't need a bigger Bible plan; we need a smaller one we'll actually keep. 5 Minutes Bible is a daily on-ramp: one short passage, a sentence of context, one honest question. About five minutes, most days, for a long time.

How a day goes: open the app and today's reading is already waiting. Read a short passage in the translation you choose. Reflect on one or two honest questions, with a private place to write if you want. Done. See your streak and what's coming next.

Streaks here run on grace. You bank a couple of grace days each week; a missed morning spends one instead of erasing weeks of rhythm. We never send a "you're about to lose your streak" push. It's a habit you keep because it's kind, not scary.

Everything is free. Every reading plan, every translation, groups, journal, all of it. No premium tier, ever. Running costs are covered by donations from people who want to keep it free for everyone else, given on our website (5min.bible/give); there's nothing to buy in the app.

Translations: NIV by default, and you can switch any time to ESV, NLT, NKJV, The Message or the Berean Standard Bible (which also fills in whenever a translation can't load).

Invite your church or small group. Groups are private and invite-only: see who read today, share a reflection when you choose, cheer each other on with a heart or an amen; no comments, no noise. Friends work the same way: private by default.

No ads. No selling your data. No third-party trackers. Every reading is written and reviewed by a human in advance; nothing is generated by AI while you use the app, and nothing you write is ever sent to one.
