AirFlash: Transfer Files

AirFlash lets you pass files between the devices around you. When two devices are on the same local network, you can send photos, videos, documents, and folders, or a short text message. Nearby devices on that network usually appear in the list. Choose a recipient and confirm what you want to send. The other side can review the request before accepting. Devices you use often can be saved as favorites, and you can turn on quick save when you do not want to confirm every transfer. On Android you can also send an installed app.

If the other person has not installed the app, use Receive via link. This device serves a local page; they open it in a browser to send files to you. You can set a PIN so strangers cannot open that page.

Files are saved where you choose, and photos or videos can be written to the system gallery if you enable that option. A receive history helps you find what arrived recently. Please allow local network scanning on first use. If nearby devices do not appear, turn off guest isolation on the router and keep both devices on the same hotspot.
