Basha Bazar is a house-hunting app for people looking for a to-let on foot.
In Bangladesh, most low- and mid-range rentals never appear online. They are advertised on paper "To Let" signs taped to gates and walls. Finding one means walking the streets and looking up. Basha Bazar is built for exactly that.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap Start Walk. The app records the route you walk as a line on the map, so you can see at a glance which streets you have already covered.
2. Spot a To Let sign. Pin it, add photos, rent, contact number, rooms, washrooms and any details worth remembering.
3. Tap Stop Walk when you are done. Your route is saved so you never search the same road twice.
SCAN A PHONE NUMBER FROM THE SIGN
Photograph the To Let sign and the app reads the phone number from it, so you do not have to squint at a wall and type digits by hand.
SEE WHAT OTHERS FOUND
A building is a shared place that many people can describe. Choose to share a to-let publicly and other house-hunters nearby will see it, with your notes alongside theirs. Keep it private instead and only you can see it.
WHY WALK TRACKING MATTERS
House-hunting on foot takes hours. Streets blur together and you end up walking the same road twice. A recorded route turns a vague afternoon of wandering into a map of ground you have actually covered.
WORKS OFFLINE
