BipSOS Contact APP

bipSOS Contact is the app for loved ones. Install it if someone has designated you as an emergency contact in bipSOS: your phone becomes their direct link to you.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pairing
You receive a 6-digit code via SMS. Enter it, and your phone is paired with the person you are protecting. You can add multiple contacts.

2. Standby
The app doesn't ask for anything or send any notifications. It simply waits. A green indicator simply confirms that the connection to the server is active.

3. The alert
In case of an emergency—fall detected, voice command, or manual activation—your phone rings like a normal call, even if it's locked.

4. On-site, remotely
During the call, you can speak to your loved one and track their location on a live-updated map. If their phone sends video, you can see it too.

IF YOU MISS THE CALL

An alert displays the last known location and the reason for the alert. A button allows you to call back immediately, either in the app or by phone.

MULTIPLE CONTACTS, IN ORDER

One person can designate several emergency contacts. If the first one doesn't answer, the call is automatically transferred to the next. You can see your order in the app.

DESIGNED FOR EMERGENCIES

• System ringtone: impossible to miss
• No registration, no password: a code received by SMS is all you need
• Live location of your loved one on a map, with GPS accuracy

French and English
• Streamlined interface, designed to be understood in three seconds

PRIVACY

bipSOS Contact never accesses your location. The only location displayed is that of the person in distress, and only during an alert. Calls are made via WebRTC, with encrypted audio and video streams, and are not recorded by the app.

IMPORTANT

bipSOS Contact does not work on its own: it requires that a close contact have the bipSOS app installed and have added you as an emergency contact.

This app is not a substitute for calling emergency services. In case of a life-threatening emergency, call 15, 18, or 112.
