Birthday Reminder & Calendar, or BDays, keeps every birthday you care about in one place and reminds you before the day, while there is still time to do something about it.

It is built for how people actually use a birthday app. You set it up once and then do not open it for weeks. The reminder has to arrive anyway.

Reminders that arrive
Two reminder times per birthday, as many days ahead as you want. When Android blocks exact alarms, which it does by default on newer phones, the app says so and takes you to the setting instead of failing quietly. There are guided battery steps for Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus, where most missed reminders come from.

Every feature is free
Nothing is behind a paywall. Backup, import, cards, the widget, tags, the calendar, all of it. Premium removes the ads and unlocks nothing, because there is nothing left to unlock. If a feature exists, you already have it.

No account, works offline
There is no sign up and no login. Your birthdays are on your phone rather than on somebody's server, and reminders work with no connection at all.

Getting your birthdays in
Add them by hand, import them from your contacts, or load a CSV file. Contact import brings their photos across too. CSV import reads twelve date formats, with or without the year. If you do not know the year someone was born, leave it out and the app still works.

See what is coming
A month calendar, lists for the next few days, this week and this month, and a home screen widget that shows who is next without opening anything. Long press the app icon for shortcuts to the next people.

Something to send on the day
Cards and wishes ready to go, plus any you write yourself. They go out through WhatsApp, Messages or whatever else you use, because sharing goes through your phone's own share sheet. Save the ones you like and send them again next year.

Remember more than the date
A photo, a phone number, notes and gift ideas, and a tag. Five tag names you can change, so family, work and friends stay separate. Zodiac signs on or off.

Your birthdays come with you
Back up to your own Google Drive, by hand or on a schedule. Restore on a new phone and your birthdays, notes, wishes and your own cards all come back.
